Alicia Fragale

Early Childhood Director

Alicia was born and raised in Choctaw, OK.  When the ministry moved her family to Hawaii in 2001, she decided the roads might be better in Hawaii so she joined them later that year.  While in Hawaii, Alicia served in preschool and youth ministry at Waialae Baptist Church and in 2006 she met her husband, Jeff.  Jeff was stationed at Hickam AFB.  Only knowing he was a Yankee(she did not know exactly what that meant, but she gets it now) and she loved him; Alicia agreed to marry him after 6 weeks of dating.  Three months later, they were married on the beach and immediately were transferred to Tinker AFB where Jeff finished out his military career.  In 2015, they welcomed twin girls, Gracie Belle and Glorie Ann.
Alicia is a preacher's kid who has been in church her whole entire life.  She put her faith in God at an early age and she has had to trust God and rely on His faithfulness many times throughout her life.  Believing He has a plan and He will be faithful to complete it has carried her through many tough situations.
The Fragales came to Grace Place in 2014. After working in the Parents Day Out program for a short time, Alicia became the Director in March 2020 and added on title of Early Childhood Director in 2023.  At Grace Place, she has the amazing opportunity to serve God alongside her dad, Steve Hawley and her former youth pastor, Barry McManus.
Alicia enjoys working with preschool children because they are as random and unpredictable as she is.  Her desire is to show them God's love, teach them that the Bible is true, that God is real and that He is the Creator of all in order to set them on the path to salvation through Jesus Christ.
